Same old story
This post should be about our fabulous new living room furniture. Instead it's more about the fact that I feel like total shit. This headache - and the ever-present nausea that accompanies most of my headaches - has been going on since just after I ate lunch. At 2 am, it's not worse than it was all day. I have an appointment with a doctor tomorrow morning.
OK, so there's not much to say about a headache. It hurts and it sucks. I shall move on.
Fabulous furniture
Our furniture arrived yesterday! I'm pleased to report that I'm completely thrilled with it. The configuration makes the room feel much bigger. Because of the configuration, the couch can also be moved back (further away from the TV) which also creates more space. My favorite thing, though, is that the couch is extremely comfortable for me. Rather, it will be once the TV is moved above the fireplace. D is not as pleased since he doesn't find the couch as comfortable as our previous couch. I told him to try out my position on the couch when I went up to bed early (see aforementioned headache), so we might have some negotiations coming up regarding our assigned seats for TV watching.
I'm so excited for the built-in cabinetry!
Theater class
I signed Avery up for a theater class that started a few weeks ago. As she watched Pinkalicious and The Nutcracker, she often asked about when she got to go on stage. I figured I'd let her try a theater class to see how she liked it. Based on my observations, she loves, loves, loves it. She runs into class without looking back at me or saying goodbye. Each time I've glanced in the room, she's grinning from ear to ear. Tonight, after we got home, she was putting on performances for no one using the new ottoman as her stage.
3 AM
It's 3 am now. Headache and nausea no better. This sucks.
Furniture looks great!
