Behind

Am so very behind on everything right now, so my solution: spend more time on the computer. Part of my delay today was grocery shopping taking much longer than expected today and then, when I got home, I realized that my order at Whole Foods was not processed correctly. I asked for lamb and they gave me pork. Damn it. Now I have to try and figure out what to do with the pork, otherwise that little piggy died in vain. Anyway, I just got back from the third grocery store visit for the day at New Seasons with some lamb.

I was planning on skipping the dog walk today, but the dogs were so pitiful in their looks at me that I decided I couldn't do it. Plus, it's actually sunny today. How could I walk them in rain the past two days and then not walk them when it's sunny? Defies logic.

OK, I'm off to make the stew and then get the dogs showered. D said they don't smell so why shower them, but I think it's only courteous to shower your dogs before a party. They'll be locked downstairs most of the time, but still I want them to be pet-able.
