No idea why, but I have the rage in me today. I can always tell when it's there because I get far more upset over small things. For instance, just now I got very mad when I broke the pepper shaker. I think it's because the kitchen really stinks and I don't know how to remove the odor and therefore I'm just frustrated. I left bowls of vinegar around the kitchen today hoping that would absorb some of the odor, but it's still there. Unless the trash can miraculously deodorizes over the weekend, I think I'll have to buy a new one next week. It really stinks despite being emptied and sprayed with Lysol. Screwing up microwave popcorn is a very costly mistake.
Volunteer work was busier than usual today. What drives me nuts about companies/non-profits without large budgets is that there is no push towards electronic files vs. paper files. Part of it is the conservationist in me who does not like to unnecessarily waste paper, but the other part is just the one that truly cannot stand paper. It's so bulky and unnecessary. It serves a purpose if you're reading a book, but when it's just to keep records of something, why not just scan it? It's cheaper, easier, and it takes up less space. But I know that the paperless thing is still quite a ways off in the distance. People don't like to let go of the old way of doing things. At least I'm not working at a company where I have to go to a printer and see reams of paper wasted on printing out emails. I knew one person who seemed to print every email and file it away in paper form. Pointless.
OK, this is the last post before Sunday night or Monday morning. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
