Shoveled

D shoveled out half of our driveway so we can at least get one car out when we get back (assuming the snow doesn't melt on its own).  I think it's quite an impressive effort.

Yesterday we also went on a walk with Avery.  This weather may be a pain in the butt, but it sure is gorgeous.

We have a car coming to get us around 3:30.  We'll stay at a hotel at the airport tonight.  In the morning, we'll (hopefully) catch our flight to Mexico via LA.

I am taking exactly one toy on the plane.  And that toy is an empty baby food jar and a round wooden block.  I'm testing the theory that plane rides are easier (at this age) with no toys.  We'll see how that goes.  In fact, we're taking no toys other than a couple of stuffed animals Avery normally sleeps with.  Wish us luck!
