So I just returned to our hotel room after Mike & I went to see a movie while D & Vic are playing poker. I can finally say I have seen the worst movie of all time: The Marine. We had no business going to that movie since it was basically a recruitment movie for boys aged 11-13, but there was a limited number of movies playing at the theater on the strip and we had already missed the showtime for one of the other movie possibilities, so we went to this one. It was so unbelievably bad. I didn't think anything so bad could be made. Then, walking back to Bellagio along the strip, we had four guys run right in front of us and into the traffic on the strip while another guy comes running out of the liquor store yelling for the punk ass &*(&%# (racial expletive) to get back there. So, it's been an eventful evening. On the upside, we paid an absurd amount of money for sushi this evening and then had to follow up the meal with fries because we under-ordered ... this is why we should always let Vic order sushi - she always orders plenty.
Tomorrow morning (well, technically this morning as it is slightly past midnight) we'll have brunch at Cafe Bellagio before catching our noon flight back to PDX.
Oh, since no trip would be complete without listing the poker big-wigs spotted: I walked into the Bellagio poker room right as Phil Hellmuth was entering; D saw Sam Farha; Vic & Mike saw Jennifer Harmon.
Also interesting to note, since I missed it during my Zumanity review: the age demographic of the Zumanity audience kind of surprised me. I expected it to be 30 and 40 year-olds. There were many of this age group there, but there were also a lot of seniors there. Enough that I particularly noticed.
